Email Updates

http://www.sacan.co.za/register/registration.aspx

Current area specific SA CAN news and incident information will be sent regularly to your inbox in the form of eAlerts and Family Matters electronic publications.  These email updates are circulated to all SA CAN’s email subscribers.

eAlerts

These publications contain incident updates and police reports on crime in the area. They are short and to the point and are sent out as SA CAN receives information from SAPS or the community through the SA  CAN SOS Line

Family Matters

This is a regular e-publication containing SA CAN community news including updates on SA CAN’s development and growth.  If you are a member of SA CAN, please send information and news on your business or events in the community. SA CAN will review these and include them when possible.

Adults intentionally mentoring youngsters would have a profound impact on our crime levels. Choose a kid who you can see would benefit from time with you and set about nurturing a relationship with them. If you would like to go beyond this, investigate a mentorship programme that you can join. Big Brothers Big Sisters (http://www.bbbssa.org.za/) is excellent. They will train you and match you to a child in your community.
